An introduction to Euclidean geometry and measurement systems. Circle and triangle theorems, Pythagorean Theorem, Ceva’s Theorem, Menelaus’ Theorem. Geometric constructions and geometric proofs. Properties of quadrilaterals. Standard and non-standard units of measure. Area and volume. This class will introduce and rely on geometry software especially to aid in geometric constructions and proofs.
