Description
This course will consider the definition and various forms of terrorism, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of terrorism typologies. Various forms of political, religious, and cultural terrorism will be examined, as well as their causes. Psychological constructs and Political Psychology theory will be considered for their salience in helping to reach an understanding of terrorism. The course will explore the political and psychological effects of terrorism. This course is cross-listed with PSY 219. Not open to students with credit in PSY 219.
