The program allows students to sit for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Aircraft Dispatcher Certification exam. Upon successful completion, students will qualify for dispatcher positions in the airline industry. York offers a Bachelors and Master program in Aviation Management. The certificate in Dispatcher program will complement these degree programs.

Admissions: This is a non-degree program; York College’s admission requirements do not apply. There is only one prerequisite for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher written exam, and that requirement is that the applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Once the written exam is completed, the test scores are only valid for two years from the date of the examination.
