Description

This course will teach students important mathematical methods and techniques used in modern finance. The topics for this course include numeric and algebraic concepts and techniques; systems of equations; logarithms; exponential's; matrix methods; and typical mathematical calculations used in the financial professions—cash discounts, commissions, finance charges, compound interest, net present value, statistics, and optimization.
