This course focuses on auditing in a computer systems environment. Businesses reliance upon the capabilities of computer information systems is becoming widespread thus it becomes increasingly important for auditors to understand this environment and how it relates to financial and general organizational controls. Topics include: systems documentation techniques, transactions cycles, audit programs, evidence, computer fraud, control concepts and management practices.
