Description
This capstone course is part of the culminating experiences that broaden exposure to public health practice, facilitate valuable work experience and increase knowledge of specific career opportunities. Students are expected to participate in course activities as pre-service public health practitioners. Students engage in real- world public health practice issues such as communicating with the public, advocating for health promotion and policy, and developing effective oral and written presentations. Leadership techniques in recruiting and retaining effective team members and improving organizational quality and morale are covered. this is a writing intensive course.
