This course surveys American military history from 1914 to the present. US military strategy and operations will be examined with attention given to the evolution of weaponry, communications and intelligence gathering particularly as this has been changed by the emergence of technology. Ethical issues in US military engagements will be discussed. This course may be offered in a face-to-face or asynchronous online format.
