Description

This course covers the major issues in materials and inventory/production management, including: identifying different types of inventory, study different inventory policies and evaluating their expected cost. On the production side this course studies different methods of forecasting and job shop and flow shop scheduling. Different production philosophies (pull and push) are compared in detail. Finally, basics revenue management for limited capacity products is introduced with an emphasis on airline ticket pricing.
