Description
Action Research for Practitioners supports practitioners who work with young people in formal, informal or non-formal education settings to define, research, and address problems and issues within their practice through an action-based, reflective inquiry approach. The course supports students working in a wide variety of educational settings to locate ideas for research within the educational communities that they work. Students define an area of study, develop and implement an action research methodology, gather and interpret data, and then draw implications for their practice. This course carries a Liberal Arts designation. This course may be offered as an Independent Study.
