Description
This course provides students the opportunity to synthesize knowledge and skills from the natural and behavioral sciences, humanities, and nursing theory in order to understand the research process and its importance in guiding nursing practice and improve the care of nurse-client intersystems. The student will identify a researchable problem and utilize the research process to develop a proposal. Emphasis will be placed on identifying the best available research evidence and integrating it with clinical nursing decision-making. This course may be offered in a face-to-face, hybrid or asynchronous online format.
