The Nursing Process and General Systems theory are utilized in providing students with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills needed to provide culturally sensitive care to children & their families from infancy through late adolescence. The course facilitates integration of the concepts of communication and growth and development in providing primary, secondary and tertiary levels of intervention to children and their families who are experiencing disruption in their biopsychosocial integrity. This course may be taught in a 7 week format. This course may be offered as a face to face course or a hybrid course
