In this course the theoretical and ideological foundations of teaching and learning the Spanish language in bilingual contexts are presented and analyzed. Included are: curriculum, methods and selection of materials for teaching reading and the language arts at the elementary school level. The completion of 15 hours of supervised fieldwork is required.
