Description

The objective of this course is to provide each student with an overview of human resource management as a profession and as a contributor to organizational objectives. The course will examine various principles and practices of human resource management and will allow students to develop competencies in the areas of recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, legal and regulatory compliance, labor/management relations, benefits administration, health, safety and security, employee rights and discipline and strategic human resource management. This course may be offered as an online course.
